We are hiring a Tech Lead – Robotics Software for a global technology company developing cutting-edge Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) solutions.

Role Summary:

In this role, you will lead the Robotics Software team responsible for the software “brain” behind Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs). You will combine hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, driving the architecture and evolution of navigation, localization and robotics software systems while mentoring a team of engineers.

You will work across the full robotics software stack, contributing to product decisions, solving complex system-level challenges and ensuring reliable deployments in real industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading the technical direction of the Robotics Software team while remaining actively involved in software development.
• Designing and evolving the architecture of robotics applications built on ROS1 and ROS2.
• Developing robust software for navigation, localization, SLAM and autonomous robot behaviour.
• Debugging complex system-level issues across distributed robotics environments.
• Mentoring engineers, facilitating technical discussions and promoting engineering best practices.
• Collaborating closely with Product and R&D leadership to shape the roadmap and future architecture of the robotics platform.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews to ensure high software quality.

Required Qualifications:

• • • Strong professional experience developing robotics software using ROS (ROS2 preferred).
    • Solid programming experience with Python and C++.
    • Hands-on experience with navigation, localization and SLAM technologies.
    • Experience designing distributed software systems and making architectural decisions.
    • Strong Linux development and debugging skills.
    • Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions.
