We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our client’s team. Our client is a financial services software provider with offices in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software and corresponding services, collaborating with your team to define, design and develop new features. You will play a crucial role in code quality assurance and architecture environment.

Technical Requirements

• +3 years of experience in backend development and secure protocols and principles;
• Experience working with testing tools and methodologies;
• Experience working with Golang and JavaScript;
• Experience working with Databases such as MySQL;
• Communication skills and team player;
• Fluent level of English. 

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering;
• Experience working in the financial sector and payment providers;
• Experience working with Linux administration;
• Experience working with PHP and Python;
• Experience working with Microservices and CI/CD tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes or GitLab;
• Experience working with API Rest;
• Knowledge about event-driven tools such as Kafka;
• Experience working with AWS Cloud services.
